Today after weeks of secret-keeping, we’re excited to share that DashTag has been sold.

DashTag set off to make soccer performance data accessible to everyone. With our soccer focused fitness tracker ‘the Dash’ and app, we gave thousands of players and coaches easy to understand and actionable data.

Although DashTag as a product won’t be available as we’ve all come to know it. The ideas and technology behind DashTag will be integrated, giving people even richer ways to measure, compare and share their data in the future.

The DashTag service will remain available to existing customers through However, as of today, we are no longer accepting new customers. Existing free users will be discontinued on May 1st, 2020.

It has been a whirlwind. It began with us hacking away at a table and having Maddy (Cliff’s dog) run laps to test our first hardware prototype, then joining forces with our incredible investors and along building out a talented team spread between Rotterdam and San Francisco. From initial inception, prototyping the hardware, creating the software, setting up a kick-ass supply chain in China, testing the product in Europe and eventually selling the products in the USA. That’s just crazy and makes us feel very fortunate that we’ve got to experience this. Today, we are excited to start a new chapter.
